Labradors On Stamps

  🇦🇺 Australian Antarctic Territory - 2015, 9 September - Yellow Labrador ("Dogs that saved Macquarie"). Dogs used to eradicate rabbits and rats on Macquarie Island which is a home to rare native species. Eleven dogs, Labradors and Springer spaniels, were used to carry out the work. The dog handler, Nancye Williams, is also featured on the stamps. Three of a set of 4 stamps (the remainder depicts a Springer spaniel) which are also included in a miniature sheet.

  🇷🇴 Romania - 2015, 20 November - Chocolate Labrador ("Intelligent dogs", 65th anniversary of Cynological Centre, Sibiu). One of a set of 4 stamps. Designed by Cristina Zlatan.

  🇮🇱 Israel - 2016, 21 June. Black Labrador (Guide dog for the blind). One of a pair of stamps on the subject of "Working dogs". Lithographed by Cartor. The second value of the set depicts a German shepherd dog.
